Buttons this year will cost $40.00. They will be avail- able most likely on Saturdays and Sundays and at the October 4th Membership Meeting. Check the website or call. You will need a current hunting license and a 2016-2017 club membership card in order to purchase a button. REMEMBER you must have a current button and wear it to hunt Pheasant on the Club property every day, not just Saturday. This year the BROWN badge will be for Saturday morning and the BLUE badge will be for Saturday afternoon.
REMEMBER! Shooting time is 7:30 AM and no longer 7AM each day. This for safety reasons. The Club property will be closed for hunting Satur- days only from 11:00 to 1:00 PM to facilitate stock- ing. So, the morning hunt will run 7:30 AM to 11 AM and the afternoon hunt will run 1 pm until 1⁄2 hour after sunset. During the week we NO LONGER close between 11AM and 1PM and stocking will be random during the week. For week days, hours will be 7:30AM until 1⁄2 hour after sunset. The Club will be open all day for hunting on Veteran’s Day, Thanks- giving, Christmas Eve (morning stocking only) and New Year’s Eve (morning stocking only). Hunting still starts at 8:00 AM on those days.
Finally, for those who want to hunt small game, you will need a YELLOW PIN. It will clearly say NO PHEASANT on it and is free. This will allow you to hunt squirrels or other small game during Upland Season. You may not pick up or possess a Pheas- ant, even if you find one that died or you will be in violation of Club rules.
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING RULES: You are NOT allowed in the woods and must remain in the parking lots before 7:30 AM or between the hours of 11AM-1PM on Saturdays. Please do not test us on this! On Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and New Years Eve, there will be only the morn- ing stocking so either color pin will work on those 4 days ONLY just like during the week. Hunting on ALL FOUR HOLIDAYS will begin at 8:00 AM.
Make sure you affix your button firmly to your vest. If you are caught hunting without a pin or hunting with the wrong color on a Saturday, you will have to appear before the Board of Directors to explain why.
THERE WILL BE NO BUTTONS FOR SALE ON OPENING DAY! If you have a sob story, keep it to yourself.
